It’s been a week already…
and it’s really starting to sink in… I’m “on vacation” for 6-months. Yeah !
I’m still pretty busy though, going through my closets and packing the stuff I had just hidden away for the open house… And the weirdest thing is, I keep getting up early, before the alarm clock goes on, even though I no longer “have to” get up early. On the other hand, I can use the time so it’s not such a bad thing.
I’ve got one more week to go before the big move, which is happening on the 31st. I’ve rented a big truck, and since most of my stuff is already piled up in the garage, loading the truck should go pretty fast, and hopefully we can do a round trip in the afternoon.
Gotta get back to sorting out my shirts & t-shirts…

Its good you are not letting your vacation waste away by sleeping too late, but my question is. Why are you even setting your alarm?
we are all jealous about your 6 month vacation. but you are going to have to work harder than that. how are we going to dream about days of not working when all you talk about it packing clothes. maybe you are trying to take it easy on us. but we have had some nice days. i hope you enjoyed some of them outside

I’m still very busy with the move to my new place on Saturday. I’ve got the truck, some friends to help me, and a good weather forecast. Just need to make sure everything is in boxes, ready to be loaded into the truck.
I’ve got word this morning that the house sale transaction has been executed, so now I can start spending
I have to wait until next week to have some time to plan my next few months. I’m planning on going sailing for a couple of days, then I’f off to the Hot Springs in Death Valley.
And early May, I’m off to France for 5 or 6 weeks
Life is good…
